Our Professionals

M. Lisa Huber, M.D. Lisa Huber, M.D. is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She specializes in treating children and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression and other psychiatric disorders. In addition to ADHD Atlanta, Dr. Huber is also a founding partner of Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals, P.C., established in 1996, and Peachtree DBT. Dr. Huber received her undergraduate degree from Agnes Scott College, then attended medical school at Emory University. At Emory, she completed her adult psychiatry residency and child psychiatry fellowship. Dr. Huber is a clinical assistant professor at Emory, and she serves as a board member at Skyland Trail Residential Program. She frequently lectures in the community to schools, churches and various organizations, especially on topics regarding child and adolescent growth, development and behavior.

Peter Thomas, Ph.D. Peter C. Thomas, Ph.D. has been a Licensed Psychologist for over thirty years. Prior to entering private practice in 1981 he was the staff psychologist for the Dekalb Psycho-educational Center, a day treatment program for children with severe emotional disorders before becoming a psychologist with DeKalb’s Special Educational Program. Trained as a School Psychologist he utilizes his clinical skills to treat children, adolescents, and their families. This includes psychological and psycho-educational evaluations as well as individual, couples, and family therapy. He specializes in working with children and adults who have Attention Deficit Disorders and Learning Disabilities. He has been dedicated to finding treatments for individuals with Attention Deficit Disorders beyond medication. He has used his experience to develop an affordable, effective coaching program for adolescents and adults and implemented mindfulness-cognitive group therapy program for children. Dr. Thomas also conducts custody evaluations and career assessment consultations. Dr. Thomas is a past president of the Georgia Psychological Association, been on the Board of the American Psychological Association’s State Leadership Committee and been on the Board of Directors of the International Dyslexia Association, Georgia Branch. He is also on the advisory boards of the Learning Disabled Adults of Georgia and the Professional Academy of Custody Evaluators. He has been married for 43 years, is the father of three grown children, and has eight grandchildren.

Michelle Manne, LCSW. Michelle is a child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapist at Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received both her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Master's Degree in Social Work. She uses play and art therapy techniques when working with children and adolescents. She provides parent training and education regarding ADHD and anxiety to support the child's therapeutic experience. Michelle has a passion for teaching mindfulness skills to children and facilitates the classes, as well as provides individual therapy for children, adolscents, and adults.
